Celebrating the Start of a Regional Multimodal Connectivity Partnership

The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand paid a courtesy visit to FK Line Co., Ltd. During the visit, FK Line presented its vision and operational plan for expanding regional maritime connectivity and expressed its intention to open a new shipping route between Ranong Port and Chittagong Port.

On this occasion, the Ambassador acknowledged FK Line’s request for support and was informed of the company’s expectation for the Embassy of Bangladesh in Thailand to assist in facilitating coordination with relevant authorities and stakeholders in Bangladesh. Such diplomatic support is expected to play an important role in promoting cooperation and ensuring the successful launch of the Ranong Port–Chittagong Port shipping route, which will strengthen trade and logistics connectivity between Thailand and Bangladesh and support broader regional integration.
